We commenced the 2022 school year with 621 children enrolled at Rainworth State School.
Admissions
Prep to Year 6 enrolments are based on the school's enrolment management plan (PDF, 78 KB). The plan limits the school's enrolment to current levels and sets out criteria for admission to the school.
All students who reside within the school's catchment area are guaranteed enrolment.
If there are any vacancies after these students have been enrolled, then students who meet the following criteria are admitted, in the order listed:
Siblings of a current Rainworth student (the current student must remain enrolled for the first year in which the sibling attends the school).
Siblings of former Rainworth students.
Children of parents (or guardians) who work at the school.
Out-of-catchment students. These students are placed on a waiting list. Their position on the waiting list and school capacity to accommodate determines offers.
Visit the prep ready reckoner for information regarding enrolment in prep and the age requirements. Applications for Prep are opened on the first Monday of March (STRICTLY from 8:00am) in the year before they are due to start.
