Welcome to Rainworth State School

At Rainworth we aim for each individual to achieve the best educational outcomes through a rich, diverse and engaging curriculum in a happy, safe and healthy community.

Our school is built on strong traditions and high expectations. Our culture is one that is built on trust, community, creativity and academic achievement.

Our belief is that education is a partnership between families and school staff. Working together we can achieve great things for our children in an environment that is a reflection of the local community it services.

The journey your child takes in relation to their learning is of great interest to me. I enjoy taking a hands on approach in supporting the learning of children and acknowledging the interests of families.

I am passionate about public education, innovation and tradition. As a school leader I seek to energise staff, students and the community to achieve our common goals and refine practices that will benefit student learning and our facility.

Our school is proud of its state education history and in 2008 celebrated 80 years of service to our local community. We cater for children from Prep in the early years to Year 6 in the middle years.

I extend a warm welcome to you and invite you to contact us in relation to any enquiries you may have or simply enjoy touring our web site.

Yours sincerely,
Richenda Wagener

Rainbow Carnival - Sunday August 28 :: Don't Miss It!

The Rainbow Carnival is on THIS SUNDAY, August 28 from 9am until 2pm at Norman Buchan Park, Bardon.

As always, this must-attend event is jam-packed with all the favourite stalls, food and fantastic stage entertainment for all the family! Discover what's on offer here!

Early Bird All-Day Ride Pass passes were sent home with students this week - parents, remember to bring along the ticket on the day so that your child can receive their all-important armband.

Ride Passes are also available to purchase on the day, just head to the Rides Tent.

Fun Passes can be collected from the aptly-named Fun Pass tent, right near the Rides Tent.

We're looking forward to seeing as many families and community members as possible at the event, so spread the word and head on down day for a great day out.
