Welcome to Rainworth State School

At Rainworth we aim for each individual to achieve the best educational outcomes through a rich, diverse and engaging curriculum in a happy, safe and healthy community.

Our school is built on strong traditions and high expectations. Our culture is one that is built on trust, community, creativity and academic achievement.

Our belief is that education is a partnership between families and school staff. Working together we can achieve great things for our children in an environment that is a reflection of the local community it services.

The journey your child takes in relation to their learning is of great interest to me. I enjoy taking a hands on approach in supporting the learning of children and acknowledging the interests of families.

I am passionate about public education, innovation and tradition. As a school leader I seek to energise staff, students and the community to achieve our common goals and refine practices that will benefit student learning and our facility.

Our school is proud of its state education history and in 2008 celebrated 80 years of service to our local community. We cater for children from Prep in the early years to Year 6 in the middle years.

I extend a warm welcome to you and invite you to contact us in relation to any enquiries you may have or simply enjoy touring our web site.

Yours sincerely,
Vicki Richards - Acting Principal

KM Club 2016 :: New Start Time for Term 2

Everyone's excited about the 2016 KM Club season. This FREE exercise session is open to all students, P-6, and their parents/caregivers and siblings!

Head on down to the oval for the warm-up program at 8.00am, with laps finishing by 8.40am. Students then line up in their house to add their laps to the progressive tally. Children can walk, jog, skip... they can even groove around the oval when Mr Stocker has the music on!

KM Club is held every Monday, Wednesday and Friday (weather permitting). Who will win this year? Fernberg? Newstead? Maybe Gregory!

See you there! Just remember, as per our school policy, no pets are allowed at this event.
