Welcome to Rainworth State School

At Rainworth we aim for each individual to achieve the best educational outcomes through a rich, diverse and engaging curriculum in a happy, safe and healthy community.

Our school is built on strong traditions and high expectations. Our culture is one that is built on trust, community, creativity and academic achievement.

Our belief is that education is a partnership between families and school staff. Working together we can achieve great things for our children in an environment that is a reflection of the local community it services.

The journey your child takes in relation to their learning is of great interest to me. I enjoy taking a hands on approach in supporting the learning of children and acknowledging the interests of families.

I am passionate about public education, innovation and tradition. As a school leader I seek to energise staff, students and the community to achieve our common goals and refine practices that will benefit student learning and our facility.

Our school is proud of its state education history and in 2008 celebrated 80 years of service to our local community. We cater for children from Prep in the early years to Year 6 in the middle years.

I extend a warm welcome to you and invite you to contact us in relation to any enquiries you may have or simply enjoy touring our web site.

Yours sincerely,
Richenda Wagener

 2016 Rainbow Carnival - A HUGE Success

The sun shone and faces beamed on Sunday at the 2016 Rainbow Carnival, and organisers have declared it a fantastic success!!

Thank you to everyone for playing their part in a great day of happiness and community. This includes our wonderful parents who took on convening roles, fitting them into their already-busy lives, the businesses that continue to provide support and assistance through prizes and sponsorship, our families that provided items and wares to sell / use on the day along with their time, and of course, to the children, families and community in general that visited us at Norman Buchan Park to enjoy all on offer. Thank you!!

We're looking forward to do it all again in 2017!
