Major earthworks for our new classrooms will commence this week. Mr Mathewson advised that we may experience some loud noise for the first week or so as they excavate the area. “Throughout the construction phase, the school administration will work closely with the builders to ensure that disruption to planned school events is kept to a minimum.”
The newly-constructed cement path on the gravel slope near the construction site has now opened. The new path will allow for a safe passage between the main school buildings and the Prep and Year 5-7 classrooms especially during wet weather.
There is also a cement path that has been constructed to allow the students who live in Runic Street access to school. The path follows the construction fence line towards the water tanks and finishes near the tennis courts.
Mr Mathewson strongly encourages the majority of students and parents to enter school via Boundary Road and Main Avenue.
