Rainworth students have access to a 
wide range of sport and fitness activities, both as part of the physical education curriculum and as extracurricular activities. The school has excellent sports facilities including a netball/basketball court, tennis courts, an oval, cricket nets and extensive playgrounds.

Adventure playground The adventure playground is situated at the front of the school (Boundary Road side) for the exclusive use of students in Years 1-3. It includes many challenging pieces of equipment to develop all of the major muscle groups.
Swimming Children in years 1 to 3 attend swimming lessons during terms 1 and 4. They travel by bus to Milton School pool. Tuition is provided by University of Queensland Swim School coaches, at an affordable cost. Classes are small and children receive individual attention.
An interhouse swimming carnival (junior and senior) is held in term 4.
Tennis Rainworth has two artificial grass courts situated in a bushland setting at the Main Ave entrance of
the school. Children make use of the courts at lunchtimes and for tennis lessons.
Matt O'Shea provides tennis coaching to students from preschool to Year 7. Sessions are held before class or during lunchtimes, depending on the year level. Tennis fixtures, holiday tennis clinics and tournaments are also held.

Tennis court hire The school's two tennis courts are available for hire at $10.00 per hour during daylight hours and $15.00 per hour when the lights are used.

Rainworth Family Tennis Club Membership is open to all current Rainworth families for $120 per family per year.
Benefits include: a permanent booking of 1 hour per week during daylight hours; free court use in daylight hours when there are no other court bookings; member-only access to the online court booking calendar.
Facilities include: Two courts, toilet and shower, pavilion with tables and seating. Members have access to the kitchenette and BBQ.
